Peer Support Group

Peer Counseling is very important to people who are making life changes in response to their disability, attitudes and environment. Our Peer Counseling staff members are people with disabilities who have encountered their own personal challenges and can offer encouragement and guidance to others. Peer counselors function as role models, advocates and resource persons.

The Center also offers small, casual gatherings including a monthly support group. Consumers share valuable information, motivational discussions and personal insights.
