Paul Chaney Supports PILC’s Youth Mission

Another strong advocate for youth transition services is the latest addition to Panhandle ILC’s Board of Directors.
Paul Chaney was elected to the Board as a parent of a youth with a disability and one who has supported the center’s Youth Encountering Success program.  “My daughter Tryniti has enjoyed YES for five years, and the program is a great asset to students and this community,” he said.  As one of 12 PILC Board members, he joins two other Directors who are parents of children with disabilities.

PILC Board member Paul Chaney, with his daughter Tryniti, enjoyed numerous recreational outings with YES students.
Paul is also employed by ConocoPhillips Refining, a benefactor of the YES program the past two years.  He was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp after serving 11 years, including one combat deployment during Operation Desert Storm.  He is a Life Member of the VFW.
Paul looks forward to working with other Board members to improve services, expand awareness and develop resources.  “I hope to be available whenever possible and try to help out as a volunteer.  My service on the Board may also further raise the awareness and support of ConocoPhillips.”
