Exercise and Nutrition

PILC consumers share wholesome exercise, nutrition and socialization during monthly exercise classes conducted by Jessica Young.  Sessions begin with warm-ups followed by fitness games that flex the heart and muscles. Jessica's goal is to educate the importance of mobility through; muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility.  Her drills are appropriate for cross-disabilities, and everyone has a chance to be part of the activity.  Following the exercise session, the group enjoys a few tips about nutrition.  Especially fun is the chance to move the class outdoors during warmer weather.
