MARCIE ROBINSON

Vice President

  • B.s. Radio/TV from WTAMU M.A. Speech Communication WTAMU

  • Faculty member in the Speech department at Amarillo College

  • I love to listen to audiobooks and podcasts. I love to try new things. Right now, I am learning to play golf.

  • I am a board member at PILC because as a disabled person, I have been fortunate to have a rewarding career, and I want to help people with disabilities find  their own success either by achieving independent living or vocational skills.

APRIL POLLREISZ

Treasurer

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal justice. I have worked in the insurance and financial industries. I have been on the Texas State Independent Living Council for 1 1/2 years. I am currently the Vice Chair on that council.

  • I enjoy doing historical-based renaissance re-creation. This includes fencing, cooking, and brewing beer and wine. 

  • I have a passion for advocating for those with disabilities.
